CPP pays in bulk nomination fees of parliamentary candidatesGH

The Convention People's Party (CPP), has paid in bulk the filing fee of 500 Ghana cedis each, to all its parliamentary candidates.

"The Convention People's Party wishes to inform all its parliamentary candidates that the party is paying their filing fees to the Electoral Commission Head Office, in Accra, in one bulk. for constituencies in the country," Mr Ivor Kobina- Greenstreet, General of the CPP said in a press statement on Wednesday.

Presidential candidates are expected to pay 50,000 Ghana Cedis for the filing of nomination papers in the exercise, which began on Thursday, October 16 and ends on Friday, October 17.
