President Kufuor campaigns in Brong-Ahafo Region

President John Agyekum Kufuor has addressed separate rallies at Wamfie and Dormaa-Ahenkro in the Brong-Ahafo Region to thank Ghanaians in general and NPP faithful in particular for their corporation and support during his eight-year stewardship.
The President was accompanied by the Regional Minister, Mr. Ignatius Baffour-Awuah, Minister for Food and Agriculture, Mr. Ernest Akubour-Debrah and Ghana's Ambassador to South Korea, Nana Gabby Nketiah.
He said the country's achievement over the 19-year rule of the P/NDC could not be compared to that of New Patriotic Party's relatively short period of governance.
This, he said, was why Ghanaians must retain the party by voting massively for Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo during the presidential run-off.
He said Ghanaians could not forget so soon the ills and damage left in the wake of the first 11 years of the PNDC rule and that succession to the presidential seat must be done in such a way that the gains chalked over the past eight years were not derailed.
Mr. Akubour-Debrah urged the electorate to protect their freedom and peace by voting for Nana Akufo-Addo and appealed to the electorate to come out in their numbers and vote during the December 28 run-off.
He said the run-off was crucial for all arms of the NPP to close their ranks more than ever before to enable them to complete the electoral process successfully.
