Special voting was smooth at Tano South District Bechem


 – The special voting in the
presidential run-off of the Tano South District started at 0700 hours
 
on Tuesday at the Bechem Old District with scores of electorates
 
waiting in a long queue to cast their votes.
     When the Ghana News Agency visited the centre around 1:25
 
pm, 461 out of the total 650 registered voters had cast their votes.
     Mr Philp Ofosu, Presiding Officer said the centre had adequate
 
voting materials and commended the way and manner the eligible
 
voters had comported themselves.
     He expressed the optimism that electorate would continue with
 
such spirit to make the election incident-free.
     Mr Thomas Okrah, a polling agent for the New Patriotic Party
 
urged supporters and sympathizers to remain calm as every thing
 
about the election was under control.
