Upper West Regional Minister appeals for more votes for NPP

Mr George Hikah Benson, Upper West Regional Minister has appealed to the electorate in the Region to review the numerous development projects undertaken by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Government and come out to vote massively for the Party in the Presidential run-off for more development and progress.
He said the Region was the poorest in the country and for a government like the NPP that had implemented pro-poor interventions to improve their living standards should be seen and embraced as their government.
Mr Benson made the appeal when addressing separate rallies at Gwollu in Sissala West and Tumu in Sissala East Districts as part of his campaign tour to canvas for votes for the NPP.
He mentioned the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), School Feeding Programme, Capitation grant and Free Medical Care for Pregnant Women as some of the pro-poor policies that NPP had implemented which favoured people in the Region.
Mr Benson appealed to foot soldiers of the Party not to be discouraged but work harder than before, especially in the rural communities to persuade the people to vote for the NPP in the second round of the Presidential election on December 28.
