Electorate urged to respect the results of the presidential run-off

  Mr James Ekow Afful, a Takoradi businessman, on Friday called on electorate to accept the result of the presidential run-off come December 28, 2008 for the sake of peace and development.
    Speaking in an interview with the press in Takoradi, he said whoever would emerge the winner of the run-off should be accepted by all Ghanaians as their President.
    Mr Afful said the time had come for the people to bury their political differences and support the in-coming president to deliver because "We are one people.
    "The will of the people must prevail for development to take place and everybody must respect the majority decision," he said.
    Mr Afful spoke against tribal politics and said it was not good for the country.
    He urged whoever would emerged as the next president of Ghana to do everything to improve living conditions of the people and to minimise the expenditure of state ministers.
