Residents of Ho Municipality anxious about election results

Radio sets have become the treasured companions of many residents of the Ho Municipality who are anxious to know the outcome of the December 7 polls.
The popular greeting in town has since been "how far, are you sure we will win?"
People the Ghana News Agency spoke to expressed anxiety about the outcome of the results wishing they would be declared early so as to plan for the Christmas and the New Year.
The expectations in town ran so high on Monday to the extent that there were pockets of jubilation triggered by provisional results.
Sources at the offices of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Ho expressed optimism of winning the elections "one touch".
Some party officials were seen at the NDC Regional Secretariat compiling some figures as others loitered around.
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) office was however closed.
