Vote for women Parliamentary Candidates – Wilson

Madam Anima Wilson, Ejisu Juaben National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate has called on Ghanaians to vote massively for women Parliamentary Candidates on December 7 to increase women participation in governance.
She noted that women were behind the success story of families in African Traditional home, however some aspects of African culture had relegated women to the background.
Madam Wilson made the call when addressing supporters of NDC at a mini rally at Ejisu Zongo in Ashanti Region.

She expressed concern about the low representation of women in Parliament that had attributed to the suffering of women in the country, adding 'the time has come for Ghanaians to disabuse their minds of the notion that women are weak and their best office is the kitchen, which is not true.'
Mr Ahmed Yaya, Ejisu Juaben NDC Constituency Campaign Director advised Party supporters to comport themselves well when they cast their vote on December 7.
He said an NDC Government would be for all Ghanaians but not a section.
