Former MP asks supporters to vote for NPP

Mr Seth Wiafe Danquah, former New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Aburi-Nsawam, at the weekend asked his over 300 supporters to vote for the party.
Mr Danquah, who made the request at separate rallies at Aburi and Nsawam, said the NPP government should continue to remain in power to complete its developmental projects.
He mentioned some of the projects as the construction of roads, provision of health facilities, markets, school infrastructures and revamping of collapsed factories.
He said the NPP would bring back to life collapsed industries like the Tractor Assembly Plant, the Nsawam Cannery, the Blue and Astek Fruit Factories, to create jobs for the youth.
Mr Osei Bonsu Amoah, NPP Parliamentary Candidate for the Constituency, told the GNA that he would tackle all on-going developmental projects in the area and called on the electorate to vote massively for him and Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, NPP Presidential Candidate.
He said the NPP government had chalked an enviable achievement by introducing the School Feeding Programme, the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), the National Youth Employment Programme (NYEP), the Capitation Grant and the Free Maternal Health for Pregnant Women.
Mr Amoah said President John Agyekum Kufuor's administration has provided the Akuapim South District with GH¢20 million to improve agriculture in the area, of which Aburi-Nsawam Constituency was part of, and called on the people to reciprocate the gesture by voting for the party.
