The Patriotic Party (NPP) has urged the media to verify reports of allegations before publishing them. The caution is in response to an earlier press conference called by NDC to catalogue a number of allegations it has received from NDC polling agents members on the field.
Addressing a press conference at the International Press Centre, Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey said the NPP is being extremely cautious in releasing allegations it has also received from the field. He said Ghana has so far exhibited leadership to the world and its imperative for the media to support that effort.
Dr. Konadu Apraku also encouraged the various political parties to act in a responsible manner as the election results are released.
